Arai Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (hereafter, this company) recognizes the importance of ‘personal information’ and in order to ensure its complete protection, while observing the Law Concerning the Protection of Personal Information and other associated laws and regulations, this privacy policy shall be made public with us declaring our observance of this.

Excluding the following circumstances, this company will not use personal information for any other uses than realizing the ‘usage purpose’ stated below.

・ when the individual consents
・ when in accordance with laws and ordinances
・ when necessary for the protection of human life, protection from injury or the protection of assets and the receipt of the individual users consent is problematic
・ when especially necessary for the improvement of public health or the progression of the healthy growth of children and the receipt of the individual users’ consent is problematic
・when it is necessary to cooperate with a national body, a local public agency or a party commissioned by such bodies that is conducting an activity in accordance with laws and regulations and when the seeking of individual users’ consent may compromise the conduct of such activities

In respect of personal information, with the purpose being to improve customer convenience, this company shall only gather such information in accordance with appropriate and fair means to the extent required to achieve the purpose. Also, when personal information is gathered from a party other than the actual customer, the customer’s consent shall be sought. However, this does not apply when there is a valid reason such as in accordance with laws and regulations.

In respect of personal information, with the purpose being to improve customer convenience (hereafter, usage purpose), this company shall use such information to the extent required to achieve the usage purpose. Personal information shall not be provided to third parties unless there is a legitimate reason such as under laws and regulations, or it is thought that the customer has given their permission.

This company shall undertake necessary measures including the maintenance of a security system, establishment of internal management regimes and the thorough education of employees, in order to ensure that personal information held by this company is not inappropriately accessed and to prevent the loss, destruction, alteration and leaking of such information, as well as to ensure that it appropriately manages such information.

Excluding the following circumstances, this company shall without delay disclose a customer’s personal information when the customer has requested its disclosure.
・When there is a fear of harm to any of the customer or a third party’s life, self, assets or other rights, this company shall, when there has been a request from a customer that their personal information be amended, supplemented or deleted (hereafter, amend etcetera) due to the content not being accurate, excluding when special procedures with respect to content amendment etcetera are stipulated under provisions of laws and regulations, this company shall to the extent necessary to achieve the usage purpose, without delay investigate and in accordance with the outcomes, amend etcetera, the applicable individual’s personal information.
